The best part about making wine is that there are no limits to what you can create. Once you master the fundamental steps of winemaking, you can craft virtually any style of wine you imagine.
We began making wine after realizing just how diverse the world of wine truly is and how limited our peers’ exposure and knowledge often are. We also noticed that the selection of wines available to our community was surprisingly narrow.
Our goal is to educate, expand horizons, and challenge expectations through the wines we create, giving everyone the opportunity to explore and learn what we’ve discovered over the years.
The (Beautifully Chaotic) Art of Making Wine
If you’ve never made a batch of wine, it can sound a little intimidating, like you need a chemistry degree and a crystal ball. But the truth is, once you get started, you’ll realize it’s mostly about repeating a few simple steps... and then hoping the wine cooperates.
Winemaking is equal parts art, science, and mild chaos. You can control the process, take notes, sanitize everything twice and still, the wine will do whatever it wants. That’s part of the fun!
So go ahead, control what you can, and let the wine do the rest. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, and at the end of the day, you’ll (probably) have something delicious to share.
